The Pine Room Pub has undergone extensive interior and exterior renovations.
The Grand Reopening was in October 2020, highlights of the project include:
a new 40-seat lobby bar and seating area; an open kitchen experience in the restaurant; an outdoor patio seating area; adding more than 55 seats to the restaurant; a return of the night sky mural previously seen in the pre-1939 hotel; daily lunch and dinner service upon reopening; an additional restroom and event function space.

Job Description:
You have a passion for serving people and creating extraordinary dining experiences through genuine hospitality and superior service to our guests! As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you are responsible for greeting and seating of guests as they enter the restaurant.
Position is part time.
Shift will vary and includes weekends and holidays.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Flexibility - This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but it's also a lot of fun!Experience -Previous experience with cash handling and passionately providing service to others.
Knowledge - Familiarity of restaurant terminology and food service techniques preferred.
People Person - The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.
Great communicator - Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writingA qualified applicant is a people person who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi-task while ensuring accuracy.
WHAT THE JOB DOES:
Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needsSeat guests and manage the seating chartMonitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flowPerform opening and closing duties, as neededAssist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
Ensure knowledge of menuRespond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient mannerAssist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationshipsWHAT WE ARE:
