Our direct client in St. Louis MO has a contract to hire positon opening for a Peoplesoft Technical Lead Developer
Our client is seeking a PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (Personnel, Base Benefits, Payroll for North America) technical resource to join our Corporate PeopleSoft Team as a leader of our development projects.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid knowledge in:
PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 or above
PeopleTools 8.51 or above
PeopleCode
Application Engine
SQR development primarily for batch interface data extracts
Query / Crystal Report development XML development is a plus
Web and Application server configuration on Unix / AIX / Linux
General shell scripting skills on Unix / AIX / Linux
PeopleSoft upgrade experience using PeopleSofts Change Assistant tool
The accepted candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will produce documentation to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
Systems support
Monitor and maintain a PeopleSoft landscape used by a network of 250 operators and over 1,500 employee self-service users.
Implement PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft application patches and maintenance packs. Currently using PeopleSoft 9.1 to maintenance pack 9/bundle 14, PeopleTools 8.53.11
Implement tax updates and other software modifications associated with processing a North American payroll
Maintain user security profiles and permission lists, working with end-users and internal auditors to best define system access for all end-users.
Assist in the support of the Performance Management module currently in use by over 600 salaried employees
Implement new functional modules including Talent Acquisition Management (Recruiting) and Compensation Management
In-depth knowledge of installing and maintaining PeopleSoft Internet Architecture including Application Server, Web Server, Report and Batch server in a Unix / AIX / Linux environment.
Requirements analysis
The accepted candidate will have the skills to provide consulting services to our Client PeopleSoft end-users, helping them to gain the optimum benefits from our PeopleSoft HCM software.
Ability to design, size and estimate technical infrastructure requirements prior to upgrades
