HVAC Controls Technician
We are currently hiring DDC/HVAC Technicians with 3 years of experience in a commercial environment. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Roanoke area. Qualified candidates will send an updated resume for consideration. Interviews are currently underway.
Job:
Mounting and terminating controllers, sensors, and end devices and troubleshooting wiring and terminations of field-installed equipment with test instruments (i.e. volt meters, multi-meters, thermometers, etc.)
Program software and commission controllers and servers and interpret blueprint reading and schematic designs
Verifying the operation, calibrating sensors, and troubleshooting wiring and terminations of field-installed equipment with test instruments (i.e. volt meters, multi-meters, thermometers, etc.)
Qualifications:
Experience with commissioning, calibrating, service, troubleshooting, and programming of numerous DDC Controls Systems including JCI, Metasys, Honeywell, Siemens, Andover, Tridium, Niagara, Trane, etc.
Excellent computer skills and background in HVAC and Mechanical Systems or Electronics
Understanding of how all systems integrate in a commercial environment
Ability to perform point to point check out and calibration of various DDC end devices such as VAV Boxes, Air Handler Units, Exhaust Fans, Actuators, Sensors, Panels, CO Sensors, etc.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints and schematics
Familiarity with NEC Standards and electrical codes
Must consent to a pre-employment background and drug screen
Compensation:

Starting pay $15 or depending on experience
