Summary:
Meridium is seeking a Director of Training to establish the strategic vision for the Training department and to drive the creation, management and delivery of training offerings that engage customers and enable their success with our products. The individual will have a focus on business results by achieving revenue targets while maintaining profitability. The individual should also have experience developing training offerings in a SaaS environment as well as agile, eLearning and remote experience.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development of the education strategy and training offerings roadmap for Meridium products and customers; internal and external
Responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue targets and margin expectations.
Creates and implements standards for training development, delivery and measurements ensuring training programs are aligned with company goals
Drive adherence to quality guidelines established by senior leadership, identify training needs and best practices while sharing/collaborating across all business programs to improve training methods, processes and standards
Work with HR in developing, customizing, and driving new-hire job skill, knowledge assessment and on-going training plans
Works with Meridium's R&D team to develop education strategy for new product releases.
Works with customers and internal staff (e.g. customer support) to introduce new customer training programs that improve customer satisfaction and product ROI.
Leads the Training team to implement the defined strategy and plans developed.
Works closely with Marketing Department to develop an integrated business plan for the training business
Work with Marketing and Sales to communicate and sell the value of the training offerings as well as organize and craft training sessions for all customer events.
Manages education projects once initial concept is designed through final implementation and business adoption.
Responsible for providing overall direction to team members and managing performance.
Manages Global Learning Management system that delivers impactful online training to ensure all training programs and course materials for worldwide delivery are produced on time and in lockstep with new product releases.
Assess the effectiveness (impact) of training; report results to relevant stakeholders, formulate recommendations for on-going enhancement based on performance data and as well as ground-level observations modify offerings accordingly.
Travel up to 15%
Qualifications:

BA in Training, HR, Organizational Development, Business, BS in Engineering or other related field or equivalent experience.
5
years' experience leading a training business, meeting revenue goals and margin expectations required.
3
years managing and directing an education team.
Strong working knowledge in instructional design (classroom as well as on-line synchronous and asynchronous delivery), training development and delivery
Strong business acumen and management skills
Solid experience leading the delivery of training and coaching to external consumers. Ability to gain buy-in and acceptance for communications, strategic messaging and training initiatives at the organizational level needed.
Should possess end to end project management skills moving concepts through design, development, implementation and continual improvement.
Strong background in training methodologies and development techniques
Business results oriented (Interested in understanding and monitoring performance data, adjusting training to respond to performance outcomes, and lifting performance in a measurable way)
High proficiency in using multiple and innovative training delivery methods and mediums to include blended learning solutions and online tools such as webcast, podcast, and eLearning.
Project management skills for implementation of large initiatives.
Results-oriented with demonstrated leadership skills.
Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate supportive relationships with peers, clients, partners, and corporate executives
Self-driven, quick learner, with the ability to get things done and done well with minimal supervision
High initiative, strong work ethic, and interest in new technology and software applications is essential
Strong interpersonal skills and high energy to thrive in our dynamic environment
Ability to travel up to 25%Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
