Job Description:
World leading manufacturer of portable electronics and surveillance systems.
Directs the Product Assurance Function, including overall financial, technical and schedule activities.
Coordinates Product Assurance activities with other departments involved in designing and producing goods.
Establish and apply quality policies standards and procedures to satisfy quality requirements of DoD, military and foreign contracts.
Oversee ISO Certification.
Directs the functions charged with quality, reliability, maintainability, and quality assurance software engineering; environmental, chemical, metallurgical, radiographic, and physical testing of production materials and processes; quality control of contractually delivered material; and environmental quality and hazardous material control, storage, and disposal.
Directs efforts related to Supplier Quality Assurance and QA of vendors contractors and subcontractors.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Masters degree preferred
12 years experience in Quality Engineering, Reliability, Maintainability or Product Assurance
Prior supervision and management experience in Quality Assurance
Prior experience in small, portable military electronics.
US Citizen and ability to obtain a security clearance
Lean Six Sigma experience; Green Belt required. Black Belt preferred.
Must be Defense or related electronics.
