We are again, needing to expand our technical services team and require an additional Seasoned C+
C# Developer Staff Member. We are a Casual Work Environment with collaboration and team work atmosphere. This is a direct hire (full-time w2) position.
Job Description:
This position is primarily for the continued development of tools and technologies that provide SaaS and PaaS capabilities to our clients. This requires deep knowledge and usage of a broad range of technologies, operating systems, database platforms and extensive web development capabilities. This position will require the ability to design and develop specifications for advanced concepts that can be delegated to other developers. Mentor junior developers and assist them with implementing development tasks. This position will be responsible for developing the most complex pieces of these tools and have the ability to
Required Education:
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in MIS/IT or Computer Science is required.
Required must have
Experience:
5-10
years of current development using C+
and C#
Experience with a variety of database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL)
o Advanced SQL
o Triggers
o Stored Procedures
o User Defined Functions
Experience with Windows APIs
Experience with Browser Compatibility issues
Windows, Linux and Unix experience
Extensive experience with
o HTML
o DOM
o JavaScript
o JSON
o CSS
o AJAX
o WSDL
o IIS6+
o Apache
Additional Skills:
Visual Basic, Java, XML, multi-platform, multiple web server platforms, protocols, graphics and media technologies, streaming technologies, eLearning and related eLearning standards are highly desirable. This position requires the candidate to be a/or have:
Must have excellent oral and communication skills.
The ability to design specifications with sufficient detail that developers can follow without issue.
Very strong OO skills and patterns.
Ability to discern between technical elegance and best solution (i.e. dont over design/build.)
Strong skills with Client/Server development.
Strong skills with Web development and back-end server communications.
Strong skills with multiple database platforms.
Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure and hardware.
Solid skills with online and batch design patterns.
Solid development patterns utilizing sophisticated algorithms.
Multi-dimensional skill set (Development, Design, Hardware, Networking, Database, Testing, Usability, etc.)
A self-starter
Someone who can perform effectively alone or with minimal direction or as part of a team.
Someone who can learn and adapt quickly.
Someone who IS a TEAM player.
