An outstanding leadership opportunity is now available for the
position
of Senior Director- Surgical Practices in our Magnet designated Carilion Clinic Riverside campus. Located in Roanoke, Va., the selected candidate will mentor and provide guidance in collaboration with the section chiefs and chairs for surgical subspecialties in general, trauma, plastics, ENT, neurosurgery, pediatrics, wound care and support the extended practices in the region to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care and outcomes.
A dynamic leader with a collegial spirit is sought with a drive for optimal quality, efficiency, service excellence, and compassionate patient care. The successful incumbent will foster creativity and innovation among employees in support of an excellent patient experience and effective resource utilization and process flows.
Qualifications include 5-7years management experience, preferably in a health care environment, demonstrating increased and diversified responsibility with multi specialty practices. Advanced leadership, planning and organizational skills to manage multiple areas and to direct the successful completion of initiatives and achievement of fiscal goals. A master's degree in related field is required.
Additional qualifications include advanced interpersonal qualities with the ability to build trusting relationships in a respectful, inclusive, service oriented culture with physicians, leaders, staff and patients. Proven skills in clinical, operational, and human resource management, including staffing, planning, performance management, team work, process improvement, statistical analysis and fiscal management skills.
