Active VA license & DEA
BC/BE
BLS/ACLS Certifications
AMA/ECFMG number
Responsibilities:
Make specific recommendations for further evaluation, medication, psychological services, environmental change & hospitalization.
Must have the ability to perform physical assessments if needed.
Make provisional recommendations for treatments, & prescriptions.
Be willing to provide cross coverage to other units, if needed.
Be responsible for involuntary commitment hearings and court-related activities as necessary, in consultation with the facility.
Confer with the facility psychological, medical, counseling & security staff during time not used in evaluation & treatment of individuals.
Have the ability to work independently & within a multidisciplinary treatment team.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
