Responsible for performing duties which support the operational functions of the Credit Union.
Essential Functions &
Responsibilities:
Provide member support for electronic services, including but not limited to Reg E disputes, Bill Pay Enrollments, Online Banking Support and Secure Message Responses, Wire Transfers, Member Payroll Allocations, and Internal Transfer Requests.
Reviews and clears fraud and red flag issues that arise at account opening and loan origination.
Provide member support for VISA Debit and Credit Card services, including but not limited to creating instant issue debit cards and booking approved credit card applications.
Conduct random self-assessments and quality control reviews of new service audits, account maintenance changes, and check deposits on a monthly/quarterly basis for each branch.
Perform day-to-day review and settlement activities of ACH and Share draft posting.
Work periodic reports to assist with data clean up, research, and member services.
Handle deceased member account notification process.
Serve as support on IRA accounts in conjunction with IRA vendor Prepares foreign item and cash letter adjustments.
Research deposit errors and make adjustments as needed.
Perform support functions of IRS reporting and account maintenance (W-8 Bens, Missing TIN's, and Backup Withholding B & C notices).
Post incoming mail deposits and perform Branch Image Capture process.
Process currency orders to fulfill branch requests.
Process daily returned check file within required time frames.
Process Credit Union returned mail.
Assists with business account support including but not limited to wire transfers, online banking/bill pay, debit/credit card services, fraud reviews, remote deposit capture, secure messages, etc.
Performance Measurements:

Must comply with government and other regulations affecting the credit union industry including, but not limited to, OFAC and the Bank Secrecy Act.
Meets or exceeds performance expectations as described in Essential Functions and Responsibilities.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills Skill and ability to use and operate a keyboard (typewriter), computer, calculator, fax machine, copier and telephone.
Skill and ability to read and understand financial statements, contracts, applications, computer printouts, manuals and other related materials.
Must have the skill and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
