Infrastructure Engineer - Benefits Available
Manifest Solutions is currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a position in Roanoke, VA.

) Perform infrastructure project assignments.
Plan, research, evaluate and design infrastructure solutions.
Provide a high level of technical support and analysis, operation, administration, and troubleshooting activities.
Adhere to approval processes as part of change management, incident management and trouble response scenarios.
Prepare cost estimates, justifications, application requirements, alternative solutions, and technical recommendations.
Prepare technical documentation including procedures, manuals, and reports.
Review and adhere to budgeting and approval processes while assisting with annual and project planning.
May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.
Specific duties include system monitoring, system tuning, trouble-shooting infrastructure issue including workstation support, server support.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
5 years of relevant work experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Adhere to policies, procedures, standards, codes and regulations relevant to assignments.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of infrastructure, environment, components, and facilities to enable more efficient and comprehensive responses to projects and problems.
Exhibit and apply proficiency in analysis, design, problem solving, troubleshooting, resolution, communication, and customer service skills.
Expertise across Windows DesktopServer platforms and Office M365 Products with understanding of Unix (RHEL and AIX), Oracle, and SQL.
Strong communication and people skills required.
Extensive knowledge to rack mount servers including installation of OS images and patching.
Travel to nearby sites within the region to support Infrastructure issues Recommended Skills Administration Change Management Coaching And Mentoring Communication Cost Modelling Customer Service Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
