9K a year 17 hours ago 17 hours ago 17 hours ago The Global Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the international logistics operations by overseeing the entire order fulfillment cycle.
This role encompasses preparation, transportation, delivery and payment of products.
Exceptional customer service must be provided as it is a projection of the company.
Responsibilities will include:
Logistics Scheduling all product distribution and coordinate shipments by arranging transportation and orchestrating deliveries per customer demand Collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, etc.
to gain quotes, bookings, cut-offs and delivery of cargo to the port of final destination as per agreed INCO terms.
Organize the transportation of heavy, oversized non-containerized cargo being hauled by FCL, LTL, flatbed, lowboy, RGN, customer pickup, etc.
Assist with the shipping and other logistical/regulatory requirements for international and domestic orders as needed.
Compliance Ensure compliance to export customs tariff numbers and harmonized System codes Ensure compliance to USMCA regulations Organize the movement of products, equipment and materials in and/or out of the country in accordance with policy/ procedure that comply with relevant local, country and international law and process.

Documentation Manage the necessary documentation for the execution of all import/export activities.
Review freight/shipment invoices for accuracy Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks Customer Service Communicate with export related authorities, freight forwarders, customers, customs brokers, in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure compliance and positive support.
Respond promptly and resolve issues to internal and external customers and freight forwarder inquiries Education and experience preferred:
Professional degree or equivalent 5 years of experience Exceptional organizational, customer service and communication skills Strong proficiency with MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, MRP Strong knowledge/understanding of HTS Codes, USMCA Certifications, International Commerce Terms, Temporary Import Bonds, Letters of Credits, Freight Forward Contracts, Aptitude to apply basic engineering principals to solve problems.
