The HR/HRIS Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at the Corporate Office.
This role assists with the company ADP system, payroll, and benefits programs; primary contact for the 401(k) Retirement Program and ensures that the plan is administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed.
This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, training and HRIS entry.
Responds to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provides assistance.
Essential Duties:

Other duties may be assigned) Assists with the company benefits programs; primary contact for the 401(k) Retirement Program.
Works with provider to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
Conducts audits of assigned benefit programs or other HR programs as assigned and recommends corrective action.
Assists with ADP system administration of all ADP modules.
Acts as back up for ADP Payroll.
Assists with the preparation of associate documentation and tracking of the Company leave programs.
Prepares employment verifications responses as needed.
Assists with the preparation of documents for subpoenas or as needed for the Legal Department.
Assists with new hire/pre-hire requirements; Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-associate background checks, drug testing, etc.
for new communities and the corporate location.
Assists with new hire paperwork and new hire orientation for new communities and the corporate office.
Assists with the completion of federal and state surveys, audits, monthly reports, etc.
Prepares new-associate files.
Files documents into appropriate associate files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Processes mail and forwards documents to vendors as needed.
Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions as needed.
Performs other related duties as required or directed by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
At least two years related experience required.
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
Experience in benefit administration.
Exposure to payroll practices helpful.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
Proficient using ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS system.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
