Industrial Maintenance Technician The industrial Maintenance Technician role is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the facility's business goals and objectives.
What would your typical day look like? Perform maintenance duties:
mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, carpentry, troubleshooting, repair of production machines, diagnosing issues, and making necessary adjustments.
Utilize equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and service.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Detect faulty operations, and defective material(s), and report those and any unusual situations with proper supervision.
Manage and stay informed of maintenance KPI's and countermeasures.
Education and Experience High School diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship -OR- an equivalent number of years (2-4 years) of education and production maintenance experience 4
years of manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance.
PLC experience preferred.
Experience using computerized maintenance management systems.
Background in operating powered industrial forklifts and single personnel lifts.
