Reviewing and preparing all documents needed for a property sale, such as contracts, settlement statements, title insurance policies, mortgages, etc.
Ordering and reviewing homeowner's association documentation, surveys, lien searches, payoffs, any inspection/utility bills, etc.
Conferring with legal representatives, real estate agents, and mortgage lenders throughout the closing process.
Meeting with clients and explaining all documents that they are signing during closing.
Arranging closings with seller's and buyer's to ensure that all signatures are completed on or before the closing date listed on the contract.
Experience & Requirements:
Highschool Diploma, GED Becoming a notary within the state of Virginia (this can be completed after hire) Proficiency in 10-key typing and basic computer skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently/with a team and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Note:
Experience in the real estate industry is preferred but not required.
Training will be provided for candidates.
