Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Working in a fast-paced office environment while completing tasks in a timely manner Maintaining an unquestionable degree of confidentiality Performing clerical and administrative tasks for the Deputy Superintendent and Finance Department Assisting in the successful execution of division events Coordinating the calendar of the Deputy Superintendent Collaborating with employees throughout the division Initiating drafts of highly confidential materials, documents, and correspondence Maintaining records and ordering supplies Bookkeeping, reconciling, and compiling financial reports Answering incoming phone calls in a prompt, courteous and professional manner Maintaining cooperative working relationships with parents, staff, and other division personnel Processing incoming checks, and payments Utilizing the VDOE OMEGA grant application and reimbursement system Coordinating travel arrangements Developing and distributing finance newsletter Other duties as assigned by the deputy superintendent Qualifications :
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent Three years administrative assistant or equivalent experience Strong interpersonal and written and spoken communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Advanced skills with Microsoft, Google suite, and related applications Ability to be dependable and punctual Bookkeeping or related experience Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in related field Experience with VDOE OMEGA grant application and reimbursement system Experience with Tyler Technologies/MUNIS A minimum of three years administrative assistant experience in PK-12 setting Such alternatives as may be found appropriate and acceptable Primary Location School Board Office Salary Range $45,429.
21 - $86,511.
80 / Per Year Shift Type Full-Time.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
